Samnang Lim is a Founding Partner at Athipa Law Firm. Prior to co-founding the firm, he practiced at leading regional and international law firms, including Yulchon LLC in Seoul, LS Horizon Limited in Bangkok, Bun & Associates in Phnom Penh, and his former firm, DBLS Law Group.
With 15 years of legal experience, Mr. Lim possesses deep expertise across general corporate matters, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, real estate and construction, concessions, energy, and mining, as well as commercial litigation. Throughout his career, he has advised a diverse clientele—from multinational corporations to individual investors—on navigating complex transactions, strategic policy development, and high-profile legal proceedings.
Beyond private practice, Mr. Lim serves as a jurist at the Council of Ministers of the Royal Government of Cambodia, where he reviews draft laws and regulations from various ministries before submission to the Prime Minister. Additionally, he was appointed by the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia to a specialized working group tasked with drafting policy initiatives to support young lawyers across the nation.
